CHALKY TEETH
Mission of the Chalky Teeth Campaign
The 'Chalky Teeth Campaign' is a scientifically-led, international movement that seeks to educate the public about chalky teeth problems and the urgent need for research into prevention. We hope that by combining public interests with professional and scientific and healthcare expertise around the world, powerful research can be done to discover causes, cures, and better treatments for the most-troublesome chalky teeth conditions.
Chalky Teeth Problems
Chalky teeth problems are very common but widely overlooked. 'Chalky molars' are of most concern because they affect 1-in-5 children worldwide and are often painful. With over 14 million new cases each year, and many having 10-fold higher risk of tooth decay, we see a fantastic opportunity for chalky teeth research to improve lives and save expenditure.
So What Are Chalky Teeth?
Many people just want to know the basics, such as "what are chalky teeth?", "what causes chalky teeth?", "how common are chalky teeth?", "can chalky teeth be fixed", and "how to get expert advice about chalky teeth"? Others want to know more scientific detail, such as the molecular cause of chalky enamel, can chalky enamel be prevented, and whether chalky enamel can be hardened. Either way, this website provides the simplest entry point to the world's most scientifically accurate information about chalky teeth.
